Advisor Khan stresses on timely redressal of grievances

SRINAGAR, Dec 6: As part of the public outreach programme of Government under the aegis of JK Lieutenant Governor’s Grievance Cell, as many as 280 individuals including 45 delegations met Advisor to Lieutenant Governor Farooq Ahmed Khan today to apprise him about their demands and grievances.
A delegation of employees of Cooperative Department demanded hike in their grade pay. A delegation of Probationary Officer aspirants of J&K Bank demanded release of selection list.
A delegation of temporary employees of JK State Cable Corporation demanded regularisation of their services. A delegation of Kulgam district demanded up-gradation of health infrastructure in the area. A delegation of aspirants of Rehbar-Khel demanded operationalizing their waiting list.
A delegation of employees of State Cooperative Agriculture Bank raised issue of financial irregularities in the Bank and demanded investigation.
A delegation of Association of All JK NIS Trained coaches demanded regularisation of services in Youth Services and Sports Department.
A delegation of Physical education lecturers of School Education Department demanded hike in their grade pay. Residents of Dalgate area of Srinagar demanded restoration of electricity in the area.
A delegation of employees of STRAP ICDS demanded release of their salaries pending from last two years. A delegation of JAKFED Employees Union demanded release of retirement benefits in their favour.
A delegation of Small and Medium Newspapers Association demanded resolution of their long pending demands. A delegation of Rehbar-e-Khel Teachers demanded hike in their salary.
A delegation of Kupwara demanded construction of bridges in their area on different streams. A delegation of Katianwali Baramulla demanded construction of road in their area besides speeding up compensation of land under PMGSY and upgradation of drinking water network in the district.
A delegation of casual labourers working with Doordarshan Srinagar demanded regularisation of their services. A delegation of employees under the banner of All JK SRO-202 demanded reduction of their probation period.
A delegation of casual labours of Hospitality and Protocol department demanded release of their pending wages at earliest.
The Advisor Khan gave them patient hearing and assured them their genuine demands would be fulfilled in time bound manner.
