UDHAMPUR, July 29: The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh, today chaired a security and crime review meeting with supervisory officers of Udhampur District.
The meeting also discussed the arrangements for the Independence Day to be held at DPO Udhampur.
A statement said that the meeting especially laid stress upon UAPA and NDPS cases especially for unearthing the forward and backward linkages in the drugs supply. He also directed the officers to conduct meticulous financial investigation in all NDPS cases. The strategies to counter drug menace were also discussed threadbare in the meeting.
During the meeting, the ADGP also discussed with the supervisory officers the progress of UAP Act cases registered in the district.
The ADGP Jammu stressed upon quality investigation in the cases and proper follow up of cases till conviction. He also reviewed the security arrangements for the upcoming Independence Day function.
