Actor-Director Kanupriya decorates Natrang Theatre Talk Show

JAMMU, June 25: Theatre, Film and TV actor, director, Kanupriya Shankar Pandit with her brilliant thoughts today decorated ‘Young Voices of Theatre’-a distinctive National Theatre Talk Show by Natrang.
The show, which is featured at the Facebook page of Natrang Jammu every-day, showcases outstanding young theatre practitioners of India, who share their inspirational views with global audience.
Director Natrang, Balwant Thakur informed that this unique endeavour of Natrang has become an important theatre happening of the country because of its content and valuable views of guest speakers.
A trained actor and a passionate exponent of Theatre for Children and Youth, Kanupriya has been pursuing drama since the age of 6 years and started taking workshops at the age of 20.
While pursuing her studies at Delhi University, she simultaneously got trained from Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts and National School of Drama.
She was seen in interesting characters in the blockbuster films ‘Badrinath ki Dulhania’ and ‘Milan Talkies’.
In the past four years she was seen in varied characters regularly on daily shows like ‘Half Marriage’, ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’, ‘Story Nine Months Ki’ and ‘Rudrakal’ on channels like Star, Zee and Sony TV.
In an engaging conversation with Nartang’s senior artist Neeraj Kant, Kanupriya shared her substantial journey of theatre.
She informed that as her parents were inclined towards cultural/intellectual activities and she got immense support and creative impetus from them which made it possible for her to start theatre and develop an understanding about it so early in life.
She believes that Theatre can change lives and to do it for various strata of society is her passion.
Natrang’s team managing this national event includes Neeraj Kant, Anil Tickoo, Sumeet Sharma, Sanjeev Gupta, Vikrant Sharma, Mohd Yaseen, Brijesh Avtar Sharma, Gauri Thakur and Chander Shekhar.
