e-tendering and e-procurement process if set in motion will make an essential part of e-governance in the State.
Many bunglings have been reported in various Government departments which often have been attributed to faulty tendering and procurement process. This has caused enormous loss to exchequer, and to the concerned department.
Now, when we have latest technology to deal with this mal-practice, why should not we go for it! It will bring efficiency, transparency and accountability in our working system.
The Government should attach more preference to the e-governance in the State. This could be done by making officials tech-savvy by imparting them training in respective fields.
