JAMMU, Oct 16: An accident victim today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
According to a police official, a migrant worker belonging to Uttar Pradesh had received serious injuries at Lapara on October 13 after he fell down from a height while working. The official said that on the same day the injured worker identified as Lalan Chouhan was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries today at about 2 PM.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter”, the police official said, adding the deceased worker was presently living at Lapara.
