JAMMU, Mar 25: A victim of road accident today succumbed to her injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Shanti Devi (65) wife of Dharam Chand, a resident of Mukandpur (Hiranagar) in Kathua district, was shifted here at GMCH on March 24 after she received serious injuries in a road mishap at Harichak in Kathua district.
However, the elderly woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 8.30 pm. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
