JAMMU, July 10: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) marked its 75th Foundation Day as National Students Day in an extravagant celebration held at the Trikuta Yatri Niwas in Amphalla Jammu.
The event witnessed the convergence of students, dignitaries, and well-wishers from all walks of life. ABVP Jammu Mahanagar took this occasion to unveil its new team for the 2023-24 session.
The event was graced by the presence of Purshottam Dadichi, a distinguished social activist and member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who was chief guest on the occasion. Vijay Prataap, North Zone Organizing Secretary of ABVP, made a special appearance while Dr A P Singh, President of ABVP Jammu Kashmir, was the guest of honor.
Addressing the audience, Purshottam Dadichi lauded ABVP’s tireless efforts in nurturing future leaders and stressed the pivotal role of an enlightened student community in driving the growth and progress of the nation.
Vijay Prataap passionately emphasized the vital role that ABVP plays in instilling a sense of national pride and fostering a deep sense of responsibility among students.
Dr A P Singh reiterated ABVP Jammu Kashmir’s steadfast commitment in providing a powerful platform for students to voice their concerns, realize their aspirations and actively contribute to their holistic development.
Main highlight of the event was the announcement of new team that will lead ABVP Jammu Mahanagar’s initiatives and campaigns for 2023-24 session. In the team, Rajesh Bardhwaj was announced as President and Arman Khajuria as Mahanagar Secretary.
Rohit Gupta, Mandeep Singh, Neetu Kumari were announced as Vice Presidents; Piyush Gupta, Manik Goswami, Radhika Sharma and Harish Sharma as Joint Secretaries; Anit Singh Manhas and Arunanshu as Media Convenor and co-convenor, respectively; Fasial Malik as SFD incharge; Rajat Khajuria as SFD Co incharge; Pallavi and Deepali Sharma as RKM Incharge and co incharge, respectively while Akash and Varun were announced as college working and co working incharge, respectively.
