JAMMU, Sept 3: Police today arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past 12 years.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from RS Pura Police Station arrested an absconder, who has been identified as Bhagha Ram, son of Shankar Dass of Kotli Shah Dolla.
The absconder was involved in a case registered with RS Pura Police Station under FIR number 90/2001 under Section 344, 323 and 325 RPC and was evading his arrest since then, he added.
The accused was produced in the Court of Law.
