JAMMU, Oct 6: Nagrota police arrested an absconder from Reasi, who was evading his arrest since long, a police official said.
The absconder has been identified as Abdul Majeed, son of Sham Din, a resident of Bain Bajalta.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 141/16 under Sections 498-A, 452, 323 and 34 RPC with police station Nagrota. The court has already issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Singh Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh Slathia and SP Rural.
