Include Gujjar-Bakerwals in talks on Kashmir: Haji Yousuf

RAMBAN, Aug 30: All Jammu and Kashmir Gujjar Bakerwal Conference today hailed the Prime Minister’s initiative for starting dialogue process on Kashmir issue with the different stake holders of the J&K and demanded incorporation of the community in such talks.
Addressing media persons, president of the Conference, Haji Yousuf, appealed to the Prime Minister Narender Modi to incorporate Gujjar and Bakarwel Conference in dialogue for concrete resolution of Kashmir issue because this community is the third largest population in the State. ”This community served for maintaining unity and integrity of the nation besides witnessing more hardships than other communities during the long period of militancy,” he said.
Haji Yousuf maintained that using pallet gun and pava shell is not the solution of the Kashmir issue and it shall be solve only through by dialogue. “Home Minister’s tour of Kashmir is a good step and has resumed the talks between the public of Kashmir and popular Government” he added.
Prominent among those, who were present on the occasion, included JKGBC secretary Choudhary Farooq and Choudhary Gani besides others.
