Adabi Kunj organizes ‘Sham-e-Ghazal’

JAMMU, June 8: Adabi Kunj J&K in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), here today organized ‘Sham-e-Ghazal’ programme in the memory of O.P Sharma ‘Sarathi’.
The programme was presided over by Sohail Kazmi, Waqf Board member while chief guest was Padma Shri Jetinder Udhampuri and special guest was Pratipal Singh ‘Betaab’ and they were all honoured with trophies.
Retired Judge Suresh Sharma and retired Additional Secretary Arvinder Singh Aman were also guests along with Dharmesh Nargotra.
Poets of different languages, writers, singers and other literary personalities participated in large numbers.
Management of this programme was done by a young poet and lecturer Ram Krishan ‘Abid’.
Special thing about this programme was beautifully arranged Ghazal by Dharmesh Nargotra.
Kapil Anorudh and Captain Lalit Sharma read the paper on the life and literary services of late O.P Sharma ‘Sarathi’.
At the end Dr. Javed Rahi, Secretary Kala Kender presented vote of thanks on behalf of the Academy.
