JAMMU, May 23: Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club registered a convincing 25-run victory over Vintage 11 Cricket Club in an exciting T20 match played at Wonderland Ground under the theme “Say Yes to Future, No to Drugs.”
After winning the toss, Vintage 11 CC opted to field first. Batting brilliantly, SKCC piled up a formidable total of 196 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Mansoor Ali played a superb knock of 87 runs off 54 balls, while Aneesh Khajuria contributed a quick 20 off 12 deliveries. For Vintage 11 CC, Pankaj Ghoni claimed three wickets.
In reply, Vintage 11 CC fought hard and scored 171 runs. Vansh Solan top-scored with 60 runs off 37 balls, while Pankaj Ghoni added 25 runs. Akshit Sharma starred with the ball by taking two wickets, while Surpreet Singh, Bawa and Rahul picked up one wicket each.
For his match-winning innings, Mansoor Ali was declared Player of the Match. Aman Cheema appreciated both teams and emphasized the role of sports in spreading awareness against drug abuse among youth.
