JAMMU, May 23: The Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII), under the leadership of its president, Dr Sanjay Bansal, organized a mega free health camp at A K Healthcare Pharmacy, Channi Himmat, drawing an overwhelming response from the public.
The camp offered free Fibro Scan, LFT, and Bone Mineral Density (BMD) tests, promoting awareness about preventive healthcare and early diagnosis. Hundreds of residents benefited from on-the-spot health screenings and professional medical advice, reinforcing the importance of regular health check-ups in preventing lifestyle-related diseases.
The initiative was strongly supported by the dedicated FTII core team, whose collective efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the event. Volunteers and staff worked tirelessly to manage registrations, guide patients, and maintain order throughout the day.
A special attraction of the camp was the free medical consultation provided by renowned senior physician and gold medalist Dr. Kuldeep Gubgotra, whose expert guidance greatly benefited the patients. His interactive sessions on nutrition and healthy living were widely appreciated by the attendees.
Members of FTII who supported the camp and attended the event included Sanjeev Aggarwal, Mohit Gupta, Sandeep Mengi, Sudhir Mittal, Ashwani Kohli and Ajay Ahuja.
