JAMMU, May 23: Through dedicated mentoring, disciplined training and the untiring efforts of its faculty, Lakshya Defence Academy (LDA) Jammu has today achieved a significant milestone by crossing 4000 selection mark, with over 400 students being selected each year.
As per the LDA handout, the achievement includes 334 candidates recommended through SSB interviews for Officer Entry, 471 candidates clearing NDA/CDS/AFCAT written examinations and 3198 candidates recruited into the Armed Forces and CAPF as soldiers.
LDA was founded by Brigadier Raj Jamwal (Retd), on July 1, 2014 at Rajinder Vihar, Bari Brahmana.
Encouraged by the overwhelming response and remarkable success of his students, Brigadier Jamwal expanded the Academy by opening a second branch at Ambphalla (Karan Nagar), Jammu on November 1, 2014 for specialized written and SSB interview coaching for Officer Entry aspirants.
The handout further stated that the Academy has consistently maintained an exceptional success rate of about 96 per cent.
Speaking on the occasion, Brigadier Jamwal said that the mission of the Academy has always been to maximize the success and placement of every student who joins for training.
He expressed immense satisfaction in seeing young aspirants securing honourable careers in Armed Forces and Security Forces (SFs) and contributing meaningfully to the nation.
Brigadier Jamwal concluded with a motivating message for the youth: “Help us and we help you realise your dream. Take one step towards us, and we will help you march confidently towards your goal.”
