R.S PURA, July 28: Spokesperson BJP J&K and former Dy Mayor, Purnima Sharma here today addressed a gathering of women and talked about achievements by the Government led by PM Modi in empowering women.
She flayed the previous regimes led by NC and Congress for depriving women of their due rights and claimed that it was only after the abrogation of Article 370 that women in J&K start getting equal rights.
The BJP leader urged the women of the area to take full benefits of the schemes introduced by Modi Government.
She called upon the women to support BJP in forthcoming Assembly elections in J&K.
“Your support is essential for achieving equitable development in our region. By backing BJP, you will ensure that the progress made in the last ten years continues and issues of women remain a priority,” Purnima Sharma maintained.
Rakesh Choudhary, Sangeeta Dogra, Pt. Sunil, district president, Meena Kumari, district president Mahila Morcha, Meeta Sharma, district parbhari, Chand Bapti, Seh Parbhari, Surekha, DDC Arnia, Subhendu, general secretary and Sashi Bala, general secretary were also present in the meeting.
