MENDHAR, May 22: Police has recovered a dead body of a middle aged man from a spring near O P Hill Stadium in Mendhar this afternoon.
The body was identified that of Lal Hussian, son of Feroz Din of Dhera Topa who was residing with a local peer. The body was found lying on ground two kilometers away from Peer’s house.
The dead body was found by the villagers who went to the spring for fetching the water. They informed the Mendhar Police and a team of the Police from PS Mendhar led by SHO Dy SP, Dr Aijaz Ahmed Malik and Altaf Ahmed Khan Dy SP Probationer, lifted the body and handed it over to his relatives who did not allow police to have its autopsy on the pretext that the slain person was suffering from fits.
