9 Health officials found absent on DyCM's visit

NOWSHERA, Oct 3: An action against the nine Health officials has been recommended by the CMO Rajouri after they were found absent from duty during the surprise visit of Dy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary in Nowshera.

Official sources said that Deputy Chief Minister paid surprise visit to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Nowshera on Saturday. He found nine officials including four Medical Officer absent from duty. The DyCM informed CMO Rajouri about the matter.

Chief Medical Officer, sought explanation call from all the nine officials, directing them to submit their individual written explanations within 24 hours. They were also asked to provide documentary evidence wherever applicable to justify their absence.

The sources said that during visit by the Dy Chief minister, Tehsildar, Nowshera and the Block Medical Officer, were also accompanying.

Meanwhile, Block Medical Officer, Nowshera, who is also DDO, has been directed to deduct two days' salary from each of the nine officials and deposit the amount into the Red Cross Fund, and inform CMO office Rajouri. The nine officials include four Medical Officers, a Dental Surgeon, a Junior Pharmacist and others.
