JAMMU, July 7: The Government today placed services of eight police officers including an SSP, one SP and six DySPs at the disposal of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while four officers in the rank of SSPs and SPs were repatriated from the ACB to the Home Department.
According to an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), eight officers have been posted in the ACB.
They include Joginder Singh, SSP Traffic City Jammu, Al-Tahir Geelani, SP North Kashmir, Dr Ashok Sharma, DySP Airport Jammu, Zafar Iqbal Nawaz, DySP DAR Poonch, Sagar Singh, Staff Officer to DIG Rajouri-Poonch range, Mohammad Yousuf Bachoo, DySP IR 9th battalion, Sunny Gupta, DySP Headquarters Kishtwar and Rais Ahmad Mir, DySP LAWDA Srinagar.
Four ACB officers who have been repatriated to the Home Department include Zubair Ahmed, SSP, Amit Gupta and Faisal Qayoom, SPs and Sandeep Gupta, Additional SP.
Meanwhile, Ayaz Ahmad Sheikh, under orders of positing as Additional SP Crime, Kashmir, will continue as SP in the ACB.
