RAMBAN, Mar 28: Eight persons received injuries in two vehicles collision near Boom area in Chanderkote.
As per police sources, a Ford Figo car bearing registration number JK19-1230 collided with a mini-bus bearing registration number JK02AA-8018 near Boom area in Chanderkote, resulting into injuries to eight persons.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Ramban, where their condition was stated to be stable, when reports last came in.
The injured have been identified as Manzoor Ahmed, son of Najam Din Wani of Banihal, Karan Singh, son of Ashok Lal of Dhundrath, Naseeb Singh, son of Panchi Ram of Dhundrath, Surjeet Singh, son of Lal Singh of Jathgali, Rohit Kumar, son of Prabu Dutt of Udhampur, Ranjeet Singh, son of Payar Chand of Sanasar, Banjo Partab Singh, son of Karnail Chand of Udhampur and Aqib, son of Mohammad Iqbal of Charar Kishtwar.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
