MENDHAR, Feb 28: Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Mumtaz Ahmed today paid surprise visit to several schools in Mendhar area and placed seven teachers under suspension.
An official spokesman said that the ADC Poonch on the directions of DC Poonch, M H Malik today paid visit to Govt Middle School, Darati in Mankote zone and found teachers Rakesh Kumar, Saraswati, Saroz Balla and Mamta Ghai absent from duty. He suspended all the four teachers.
Then he visited Govt High School, Uchhad and suspended PET, Waseem Ahmed for being unauthorisedly absent from duty. During visit at Govt Primary School, Kot Masjit in Harni area, the ADC suspended teachers Mohd Zameel and Shameem Aijaz under suspensions.
