7 Kheer Bhawani devotees injured as bus hits mountain

RAMBAN, June 9: Seven Mata Kheer Bhawani devotees suffered injuries when a bus ferrying them hit a mountain after break failure here at Marog.
“A bus on the way from Jammu to Srinagar, carrying devotees of Mata Kheer Bhawani, this afternoon hit by mountain due to break failure at Marog area, in which seven of them suffered injuries”, a police official said.

After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Ramban, from where they were later referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Kalpana Devi (60), wife of Shankar Lal of Bhaderwah, Bipna Bhat (38), wife of Omkar Nath Bhat, Ramesh Kumar (58), son of Raghu Nath, Reena Koul (52), wife of Shadi Lal Koul and Rajesh (50), son of Dina Nath, all residents of Jagti Nagrota Jammu, Ram Pyari (47), wife of Madan Lal of Ramnagar District Udhampur and Abhi Sharma (14), son of Madan Lal of Jewel Jammu.
Ramban police has taken cognizance in this regards.
