RAJOURI, Sept 18: The police today seized 7 bovine animals during naka near Sunderbani while two smugglers managed to escape.
A police spokesman said that during naka at Tanda village on Jammu-Poonch, Sund-erbani police party led by SHO Devinder Singh Katoch intercepted 7 bovine animals being taken towards Rajouri on foot. Two persons moving with the animals fled away after seeing police party. The police seized the animals and started search for the absconding accused persons.
