JAMMU, Nov 4: Six cueists entered into the quarter final round in the ongoing Senior Snooker, being organized during the ongoing 27th Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
The cueists, who entered quarter final, are Sohail Khalid, Vidit Gawri, Ishuk Choudhary, Adnan Lone, Abhishek Pathania and Arjun Singh.
In the first match today, Sohail Khalid defeated Aman Sharma by 3-1 frames (43-20, 52-42, 46-67 and 59-09).
In the second match, Vidit Gawri outplayed Gurjeev Singh by 3-1 frames (43-20, 42-65, 54-48 and 63-39).
Ishuk Choudhary beat Varun Sethi in the third match by straight 3-0 frames (52-19, 56-09 and 66-23).
In the fourth match, Adnan Lone registered win over Ansh Chopra by 3-0 frames (50-43, 54-45 and 54-25).
Abhishek Pathania defeated Nitin Sharma in a nail biting fifth match by 3-2 frames (46-35, 58-47, 34-54, 28-58 and 47-43) and in the sixth and last match of the day, Arjun Singh beat Vishal Abrol by straight 3-0 frames (70-09, 54-31 and 55-50).
It is pertinent to mention here that 27th Sub Junior, Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship is being organized by J&K Billiards and Snooker Association under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council.
