RAMBAN, Sept 13: Six children and a driver were injured, when the Maruti van they were travelling in, collided head on with a Skoda car near Baggu Nallah, falling under the jurisdiction of Batote Police Station.
As per police sources, a Maruti Van bearing registration number JK02P-1893 carrying students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Chenani was on its way from Batote to Chenani, when it collided head on with Skoda car near Baggu Nallah, resulting into injuries to six children and driver of the van.
The injured children and driver were rushed to Batote Hospital, from where the driver identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Abdul Qayoom of Ward Number 7, Batote was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for advanced treatment.
A case in this regard has been registered at Batote Police Station and investigation started.
