BHADERWAH, July 18: Five passengers were injured when a Tata Sumo they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Hatti More area on Bhalla-Thalsara link road today afternoon.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-5152 was on its way to Thalsara from Bhalla when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into gorge near Hatti More area, resulting into injuries to five persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation. All the injured persons were shifted to PHC Bhalla, where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Rasal Singh, son of Gouri Singh, his wife Shanti Devi, Shruti Devi, daughter of Rajinder Singh, all residents of Village Thalsara, Shankri Devi, wife of Laxman Singh and Sajada Begum, wife of Mohammad Iqbal, both residents of Draund.
Bhaderwah police has taken cognizance in this regards.
