BARAMULLA, Oct 17: Five officials of Municipal Committee (MC) Pattan were today put under suspension by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Pattan, Abdul Quyoom during a surprise visit to the office of the Committee.
While informing, the SDM said that during a surprise visit of the office, three employees were found absent while 2 employees were found absconding since October 11. The SDM while taking immediate action has put them under suspension and has made recommendation for strict action against theses five officials.
Meanwhile, the SDM also made surprise inspection of various other offices and educational institutions falling within his jurisprudence today to ensure the attendance of Government employees in the offices.
