JAMMU, Sept 13: The J&K UT Kho-Kho Association organized the 4th Independence Kho-Kho Cup, here today. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from multiple clubs across the region, showcasing high levels of skill, discipline, and competitive spirit.
The event was graced by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu (DSOJ), J&K Sports Council, Satpal Singh as the chief guest. Key office bearers present included Amrinder Pal Singh (General Secretary), Pankaj Malhotra (Treasurer and International Player) and Tarmeet Raina (Joint Secretary), who ensured the smooth execution of the tournament.
In the Boys’ Section, SAI Club emerged victorious over Parivartan Club in a nail-biting final, winning by 7 points. In another match, NIS Club defeated New National School by an innings and 7 points, asserting dominance.
In the Girls’ Section, Parivartan Club showcased outstanding performance by winning both their matches-first against Rising Star by 7 points and then against Sindhoor Club by 2 points.
All matches were officiated professionally by Palbinder Singh and Sahil Angral, ensuring fairness and strict adherence to Kho-Kho rules.
