SRINAGAR, Mar 10: State Vigilance Organization today registered case against officials of the Education Department in a fake appointments case.
An official spokesman said that case under different sections of Prevention of Corruption and RPC has been registered against the then Chief Education Officers of district Budgam namely Ahmadullah Owesey and Nissar Hussain, the then Headmaster Government High School Zagoo, Gazala Jabeen, the then Principal Government Higher Secondary School Chrar-e-Sharif, Haseena Firdous and private persons Gulzar Ahmad Mir of Beerwah and Abdul Hamid Dar of Rusoo.
These accused persons hatched a criminal conspiracy and in furtherance of the same allowed the private beneficiaries to join Government services as Class IV on the basis of fake and forged appointment orders.
