JAMMU, Dec 30: High Court today ordered transfer and posting of four Judicial Officers and promotion of two others in the Super Time Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Higher Judicial Service.
According to the order, Rakesh Sagar Jain, District and Sessions Judge (Super Time Scale), presently serving as Registrar Vigilance, High Court of J&K, has been posted as Registrar General of the High Court with effect from January 1, 2017 on the retirement of A K Koul, who is serving as Registrar General as on date.
Sanjay Dhar, District and Sessions Judge (Super Time Scale), presently serving as Special Judge Anti-Corruption (CBI cases), Jammu has been transferred on deputation to the High Court and posted as Registrar Vigilance with effect from January 1, 2017 in place of Rakesh Sagar Jain.
Jawad Ahmad, District and Sessions Judge, presently serving as Registrar Judicial, Srinagar Wing of the High Court, has been posted as Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice with effect from January 9, 2017. Present Principal Secretary, M Y Akhoon will be relieved on January 9, 2017 and subsequently he will join as Presiding Officer for Food Safety Appellate Tribunal, Kashmir.
Mohammad Yousuf Wani, District and Sessions Judge (Selection Grade), presently serving as District and Sessions Judge Budgam has been transferred on deputation to High Court and posted as Registrar Judicial, Srinagar Wing of the High Court with effect from January 9, 2017.
Meanwhile, Puneet Gupta and Mohan Lal Manhas, District and Sessions Judges (Selection Grade) have been placed in the Super Time Scale of J&K Higher Judicial Service with effect from November 1, 2016 and January 1, 2017 respectively against the vacancies caused/to be caused due to the retirement of M K Hanjura on October 31, 2016 and Ashok Kumar Koul on December 31, 2016.
According to another order, consequent upon the acceptance of his representation, the seniority of Kishore Kumar, District Judge (Selection Grade) has been restored to its original place—below Inder Singh and above Bala Jyoti, District Judges (Selection Grade) with all consequential benefits.
