POONCH, May 1: A 9th class student among four labourers received burn injuries in a fire incident due to leakage of gas cylinder at Qazi Mora in Poonch district.
Official sources said that all the four are living on rent in the house of Qamar Din. The incident took place in the morning, and soon after information was received an Ambulance rushed to the spot. All the injured were taken to District Hospital Poonch for treatment.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Zulfiqar Ali said that after initial treatment one among them was referred to GMC Rajouri for advanced treatment, while three were kept under observation till evening.
The injured were identified as Hasham Mair, son of Niaz Mair; Suraj Patil, son of Ram Patil both residents of Bihar; Javid, son of Mohd Ahmed, resident of UP (Under treatment in GMC Rajouri), Mohd Shahid, son of Mohd Sadiq, a resident of Lohailbella, Mandi. The police has taken cognizance.
