JAMMU, Apr 16: The passing out function of 19th batch of Kashmir Forester’s Training Course was held in the premises of Soil Conservation Training School, Miran Sahib Jammu.
Abai Kumar, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest, J&K, was chief guest in the ceremony in which 31 trainees passed out and were awarded certificates.
The chief guest in his address to the trainees, highlighted importance of practical need based training for the field functionaries and emphasized on upgradation of training facilities in the school.
Bilal Ahmed Itoo of Ramban Forests Division secured Ist position in order of merit. Mohd Ashraf Lone and Naresh Kumar of Billawar Forest Division secured second and third position respectively.
Mohd Idris Khan of Poonch division was declared the best in computer applications while Shamsher Singh of Urban Forestry Division Jammu was adjudged as the best Duty Officer.
