JAMMU, Nov 26: Police today arrested three absconders, who were evading arrest for the past quite long time.
An official handout said that a police team headed by Ashok Singh, SDPO Vijaypur under the supervision of Dr Koshal Kumar Sharma, SP Samba apprehended an absconder namely Inderjeet Singh, son of Sunil Singh of Preet Nagar, Digiana, who was evading arrest during the past 10 years in a case registered under Section 420, 467, 468 and 471 RPC at Vijaypur Police Station and against whom warrant under Section 512 CrPC has already been issued by the Court.
Similarly, Miran Sahib Police apprehended an absconder namely Tarseem Lal, son of Babu Ram of Arnia, who was involved in rape case. The accused was arrested by SHO Police Station Miran Sahib SI Ravi Singh Parihar under the supervision of SP Headquarters and SDPO R S Pura.
A police party of Police Station Hiranagar also arrested an absconder namely Prithvi Paul Singh, son of Puran Singh of Nanak Nagar against whom warrants under Section 512 CrPC were issued by JMIC Hiranagar on May 17, 1997.
