KATHUA, July 31: District administration again launched a huge anti encroachment drive at different places on the National Highway which includes Dayalachak, Kharote Mode, Hatli Mode and near the CTM.

Total 250 illegal structures were removed. These included 10 pucca shops,158 kiosks,100 walls. Encroachment by patrol pumps at Dayalachak were also removed, DC Kathua Rohit Khajuria under whose directives the operation was launched and who monitored the entire operation said.
Revenue officers SDM Hiranagar headed the team at Hiranagar and Dayalachak which includes Tehsildar Naib Tehsildar, SDPO Hiranagar and SHO also participated in the demolition drive.
At Kathua team which launched the operation included ADC Kathua, ACR Kathua and tehsildar. SHO Kathua assisted them along with Nafri. The encroachment drive was carried out under the overall supervision of Rohit Khajuria, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua and SP Kathua, Sridhar Patil.
