2 yrs imprisonment awarded to Bangladeshi

JAMMU, Jan 7: Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Mohammad Akram Chowdhary today awarded two years imprisonment and fine of Rs 10,000 to Mohsin Bayapari, son of Amir Hussai Bayapari of Bangladesh, who was apprehended by Border Security Force (BSF) for illegally entering into the territory of J&K on May 19, 2014.
After hearing Additional Public Prosecutor Ajay Singh Manhas appearing for the State, the court convicted the accused for the commission of offences punishable under Section 14-A (b) Foreigners Act 1946 and Section 12 of the Passports Act 1920. Accordingly, he was awarded 2 years imprisonment and fine of Rs 10,000.
