2 mobile phones seized from PoK visitor

POONCH, Apr 8: The security agencies seized two mobile phones from a PoK visitor at the Chakkan-da-Bagh Line of Control point while a total 81 passengers crossed sides at this LoC point in district Poonch today.
An official spokesman said that security persons deployed at Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point seized two mobile phones from one Parveen, daughter of Mohd Sadiq, resident of Muhajir Colony, Kotli (PoK), when she was returning to PoK after staying with her relatives Ali Mohd and Said Mohd at Galuta in Mendhar today. After frisking, two mobile phones were found in the purse of the girl and were seized. She was however, allowed to move ahead to her village.
A total 81 passengers crossed sides at the Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point today while there was no J&K visitor was in the PoK bus today. All the 28 passengers who moved to that side in Poonch-Rawalakote bound bus were PoK residents.
Today total 53 passengers arrived here in the PoK bus today. Out of the total, 52 were PoK residents while only one was the Indian returnee. It has been alleged that many cases of Indians are pending with the Pakistani authorities for want of necessary clearance for travel to PoK.
Mohd Bashir Lone (Custodian Poonch) from Indian side while Parvez Yaqoob, SDM Hazira from Pakistan side facilitated the passengers at the LoC point.
