2 killed, 4 injured in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR, Mar 13: Two brothers died when they came under a moving minibus at Majalta while in a separate road accident at Mandad, three brothers among four persons were injured in collision of cars.
Two brothers were crushed to death by a minibus, which was parked on the roadside without applying hand break and suddenly moved. The minibus, bearing registration number JK14C-9812, after carrying a Barat at village Tanjore in Majalta last late night, was stranded on the roadside. As the hand break was not applied, the minibus suddenly moved and hit the two brothers.
Locals rushed the injured persons to PHC Majalta and in view of their critical condition, both of them were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu where doctors declared them as brought dead. The deceased were identified as Uttam Singh and his brother Sohan Singh, sons of Govind Singh of Tanjore.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, three brothers among four persons were injured when a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02AK-0089 collided with a Tavera car JK02AE-6552 near Falata on the National Highway Udhampur. Locals shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur. The injured were identified as Majid Mohd (30), son of Alla Din, Abdul Azir (50), son of Alla Din, Shob Ali (50), son of Mohd Din and Noor Hussan (60) son of Alla Din all of Dansal.
