2 drown, man’s body recovered from nallah

RAJOURI, Feb 21: Two youth were drowned  in a river near Nowshera late last evening while body of a villager was recovered from a nallah in Dharamsal area of Kalakote today.
A police spokesman said that two labourers hailing from Kewal village of Budhal, drowned in  Manawar river near Nowshera. They were engaged in collecting sand and slipped into the river. While body of one Mohd Liaqat (24), son of Abdul Rashid of Kewal was recovered today, the body of Mohd Kabir, son of  Shah Mohd  was still untraced. The police and family members were searching for it.
Meanwhile, dead body of one Chamail Singh (58), son of  Ishar Dass, resident of Thanna Morha  in Hari Chuma area of Taryath (Dharamsal) was recovered from a nallah today. The victim was returning from a nearby village Daraba last evening and went missing. The police sent the body for postmortem and later handed over to the family.
