DODA, Mar 29: Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Doda Police Station conducted raids and arrested two absconder, who were at large since long.
One of the absconder identified as Mohammad Saleem alias Gulshan, son of Ghulam Haider of Bharat district Doda was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 232/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act.
The second absconder identified as Abdul Gani, son of Ahmedhoo of Dhara district Doda was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 94/2004 under Section 376 and 452 RPC. Both the cases stands registered with Police Station Doda.
CJM Court Doda has also issued arrest warrants under Section 512 CrPC against them.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Manjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
