17th Martyrs Day of DySP observed

Jammu, May 12 : Shaheedi Diwas of martyr Deputy Superintendent (DySP) late Gulbadhan Singh was observed at his native village Dangar Kaleeth in Khour Block.
On the occasion, the gathering paid floral tributes to the valiant officer who laid down his life while fighting with terrorists at Srinagar.
A satsang programme was also organized at the Shaheedi Sthal of the martyr at his village Dangar Kaleeth on his 17th ‘Martyrs Day’. Langar was also organized wherein people of the village took Prasad.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Jammu Uttam Chand said that late Gulbadhan has set examples for other security personnel as his supreme sacrifice for the cause of the nation will always be remembered. He said that his bravery was well known among his colleagues, adding that Singh successfully led as many as 110 counter-insurgency operations in strife-torn areas of the State.
Family of the martyr including wife Prof Sushma Chib, sons Mohit Singh Bhau, Rohit Singh Bhau brothers Balwan Singh Bhau, Madan Singh Bhau Balbir Bhau, Rajinder Singh Bhau Nephew also paid floral tribute to the martyr on his 17th ‘Martyrs Day’.
