13,200 students appear in para-medical exams

JAMMU, June 23: J&K State Paramedical Council successfully conducted examination of 13200 students across the State today. In Jammu division, about 4300 students belonging to different streams, appeared.
The different Centres were established in Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Udhampur, Kathua, Doda and Kishtwar under the supervision of respective Chief Medical Officers of the district. Throughout the day, a team led by President, Dr Kaisar Ahmed, Principal & Dean, GMC, Srinagar along with his officials of Paramedical Council conducted inspection of various Paramedical Examination Centres of Kashmir Valley.
In Jammu division, a team led by Vice President, Dr Sunanda Raina, Principal & Dean, GMC, Jammu accompanied by Controller of Examinations Jammu Division Professor (Dr) A S Bhatia and Registrar, J&K State Paramedical & Nursing Council, Dr Sandeep Singh conducted Inspection of various examination centres across the region.
Dr Raina lauded the J&K State Paramedical Council for successfully conducting regular examinations in last five years saving the loss of money and precious academic years of students.
Controller of Examinations, Dr A S Bhatia reiterated their objective of zero tolerance to the menace of copying and stressed the Paramedical Institutions to further improve their overall quality of education.
Dr Sandeep Singh, Registrar, J&K State Paramedical Council while disclosed that many steps have been taken to further strengthen the working of the J&K State Paramedical Council. Most of the Syllabus has been revised and printed which shall be distributed to the colleges within weeks time.
Dr A S Bhatia expressed his gratitude to the Chief Medical Officers of different districts and the team of J&K State Paramedical Council comprising Dr Harleen Kour, Associate Professor, Microbiology and Superintendent for Govt Medical College Centre, Dr Gazala Abbas, Ms Bhavana, Principal, AMT School, Rajni Sharma, Roshan Lal Koul, Rajni Munjal, Rakesh Arora, Shepali Salathia, Sapna, and Anjana, who worked day and night for the successful and timely completion of examination process.
