JAMMU, May 26: Aryans Job Fest has successfully concluded with the attendance of around 1500 candidates from different States of North India. Around 132 candidates were shortlisted for different profiles in the Job Fest.
With the participation of around 15 multinationals and small enterprises, the Job Fest was held at Aryans Group of Colleges situated at Chandigarh-Patiala highway near Chandigarh. The Fest was inaugurated by Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges.
Briefing the media, Dr PB Mahapatra, Director, Aryans College of Engineering said that Aryans has not only played a dominant role in providing quality education to the students but has also been providing hub of job opportunities for the aspirants making it the leading institute of the region.
Tejinder Kaur, Training and Placement Officer, Aryans Group of Colleges said that Company officials were indeed pleased to see such a heavy walk-in and appreciated the zeal among the applicants. After the rounds of written Test, Group Discussion and interview, they shortlisted the candidates.
Prof AP Jain, Director, Aryans Group, said that various companies like Allumez Infotech, Asian Tiles, Beta Soft, Coatec India Pvt Limited, Competent Synergies, Eos Edu Ventures, IFBI, JANDEC Corporation Pvt Ltd, Richest Soft, Samruddha Jeevan, Trinity Digitals, Virtuoso Netsoft (P) Ltd etc participated and shortlisted the candidates.
B S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group, said that every participant could appear for maximum 4 companies. Packages offered ranged from 1.25 to 5 lakh per annum. There were many students who were able to secure more than one offer letter.
Also present on the occasion were Prof D C Kataria, vice-chairman, Aryans Group; Rajni Kataria, treasurer, Aryans Group; Dr Parveen Kataria, director general, Aryans Group and Dr Manjula Kataria, principal, Aryans College of Education.
