12 JKAS officers transferred in Ladakh, 4 relieved

JAMMU, Sept 28: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Ladakh administration has ordered immediate transfers and postings of 12 JKAS officers following their deputation to the Union Territory.

Consequently, four officers have been relieved of their duties in Ladakh with immediate effect and directed to report to the General Administration Department in Jammu & Kashmir.

As per an order, Mohammad Yousf Ganaie, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as ACD Kargil against an available vacancy and Ghulam Mohammad, ADDC Kargil, has been transferred and posted as ADC Kargil. The officer has also been directed to continue holding the charges of ADDC Kargil and CEO Kargil Development Authority, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

The order said Shabir Hussain, ADC Kargil, has been transferred and posted as OSD to Commissioner Secretary, Revenue Department, UT of Ladakh and Saqib Sharief Khan, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as District Panchayat Officer Leh and given the additional charge of Assistant Regional Transport Officer Leh relieving Tufail Iqbal of both charges.

Similarly, Jasif Amin Sheikh, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Tehsildar Zanskar with additional charge of SDM Zanskar vice Sarwar Shahzad and Sadam Hussain, also awaiting orders of adjustment has been posted as Under Secretary to the Administration, Hospitality and Protocol Department relieving Huma Khan of Hospitality and Protocol charge.

The order further said that Shivam Sharma, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Tehsildar Nyoma with additional charge of SDM Nyoma against an available vacancy and Ayush Sharma, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Under Secretary to the Administration, Higher Education Department and Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.

Zahoor Ahmad Hadi, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Tehsildar Durbuk besides holding the additional charge of SDM Durbuk and Mohammad Anjum, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Under Secretary to the Administration, Tourism & Culture Department relieving Faizal Ahmad Tantray of the additional charge, the order said.

Similarly, Aju Kundal, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Under Secretary to the Administration, Rural Development, social & Tribal Welfare, and Information Technology Departments relieving Sanjat Bhardwaj and Sarwar Shahzad, SDM Zanskar, has been transferred and posted as Tehsildar Sankoo with additional charge of SDM Sankoo relieving Waseem Ramzan Dar of both the charges.

Consequent upon the transfers and postings, the Ladakh administration relieved four JKAS officers of their duties in the Union Territory of Ladakh with immediate effect, while directing them to report to the General Administration Department of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Those relieved are Mohammad Ismail Ganie, Sanjat Bhardwaj, Tufail Iqbal, and Waseem Ramzan Dar.
