JAMMU, Jan 5: Ten persons were injured today when a mini-bus rolled down the road in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a speeding mini-bus bearing registration number JK02AC-0947 rolled down the road this morning in Bala area of Akhnoor. He said 10 passengers travelling in the mini-bus got minor injuries and they were shifted to Sub District Hospital Akhnoor for treatment.
“Later, one of the passengers namely Sanju (25) daughter of Darshan Lal, resident of Godan (Akhnoor) was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for specialized treatment”, he said.
He said other injured were identified as Surjeet Kour, Amrita Devi, Ram Pyari, Vaishno Devi, Chanchla Devi, Kuldeep Raj, Rakesh Kumar, Ram Parkash and Dev Raj. “In this connection, Akhnoor police has registered a case and started investigations”, he added.
