KISHTWAR, Mar 5: On the directions of Chief Education Officer (CEO), Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Kishtwar ordered closure of 11 private academies.
According to the order, the recognition/permission to run the 11 private academies have been expired and CEO issued verbal directions to ZEO Kishtwar to order closure of these institutions with immediate effect.
The academies, whose closure has been ordered, are Al Iqra Asraria Modern Academy Filler, Neelam Academy Kishtwar, Saffron Public School Kishtwar, BVM Agral, JK Public School Kishtwar, BVM Devra Thakraie, Divine Light Public School Kishtwar, Faridla Public Academy Kishtwar, National Academy Kishtwar, BVM Hidyal and New Modern Academy Kishtwar.
When contacted CEO Kishtwar AH Fani said that same instructions have been given to all the ZEOs in the District Kishtwar to order closure of the schools, whose recognition/permission has been expired.
