LEH, Oct 29: Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Simrandeep Singh today placed ZEO of Saspol Zone along with a Girdawar of Revenue Department and seven other employees of various departments under suspension for remaining on unauthorized absence.
The DC has ordered departmental action against 10 Lecturers, Masters and Teachers of various schools for remaining absent. Departmental Action has also been ordered against the suspended employees.
According to the order, ZEO has been suspended because not only he was absent but also his office was found locked on a working day.
It is pertinent to mention here that the DC Leh in the past month had ordered a weekly attendance report from all Tehsildars of the district and issued strict instructions to all employees to seek station leave permission from local SDMs.
