Jammu, Apr 24: After passing through RS Pura, Samba, Kathua,Billawar, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Ramban and Banihal,Yuva Adhikar Yatra started by the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha reached Gagansu area of Marh Constituency where Yatra was accorded warm welcome by the BJYM district President Vikas Choudhary alongwith hundreds of BJYM activists.
On this occasion BJYM State President Ravinder Raina felicitated MLA Sukhnandan Choudhary for his role in the recently concluded Assembly session. Addressing the youth rally BJYM State President Ravinder Raina accused Congress Party as anti-Dogra. Making scathing attacks on Congress Ravinder Raina charged the Congress Party for hobnobbing with the National Conference and PDP to suppress the Nationalist Dogras in the State. He said by endorsing the highly controversial policies of NC and PDP, Congress backstabbed dogras and termed it as “anti-Dogra” Party.
He said that the Congress party failed to come up to the expectations of the Dogras of Jammu and is more responsible for the miserable plight of the people of Jammu than other parties and said that if dogras have to obtain justice, they have to out rightly discard the Congress party from the Jammu region.
Accusing the Congress of supporting the “pro-separatists and anti-National policies” of the NC and PDP Raina said that the Congress took no time in “changing colours” and enter into an alliance with the PDP in 2002 and with NC in 2008 subverting the Jammu’s mandate and extended “unqualified” support to ” anti-National and anti-dogra” parties, which had been muddying the Indian waters in the State and creating all sorts of problem for the nationalist people of the State. He said soon after the 2008 Assembly elections, the Congress Party entered into an unholy alliance with the NC and gave unstinted support to whatever the National Conference did to jeopardize the interests of the nationalist Dogras.
He said the Congress MLAs and Ministers from Jammu gave unqualified support to the anti-Jammu policies evolved and implemented ruthlessly by the NC, and became a party to the decision of the Omar Abdullah led Government to erode the very identity and personality of the Dogras. He said Congress party extended full support to the NC-led Government that revoked the order for providing Dogra certificates to Jammu youth some two years ago had exposed the “anti-dogra mentality of the Party”. He said that almost all the separatist leaders had in one voice opposed the decision to grant “Dogra certificate” to the Jammu youth and the Congress and the NC-at the behest of Hurriyat and other anti-India forces backstabbed the dogra youth by revoking the order on Dogra certificate.
