RAJOURI, Mar 14: The dead body of a youth was recovered from a Nallah near Sailsui village in Kalakote tehsil this evening.
A police spokesman said that at around 5 pm a villager noticed the dead body lying in the Nallah and informed people of the area. Then they reported the matter to Kalakote police, which rushed to the spot. The deceased was later identified as Mohd Maqsood (30), son of Fateh Mohd, resident of Sailsui area. His dead body was later shifted to Kalakote hospital for postmortem. Some injury marks were also visible on his person.
It was said that Maqsood had gone to the house of his in-laws, at nearby village and went missing last evening. The police registered a case under section 174 CrPC and started investigation.
