JAMMU, Jan 12: A 22-year-old youth today made an abortive attempt on his life by hanging himself in Domana area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the youth identified as Ravinder son of Jagdish, resident of Deora (Marh) today tried to end his life by hanging himself at his residence at Domana.
“However, the family members timely noticed his untoward act and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in”, he added.
The spokesman said that Domana police had taken cognizance of the matter.
