JAMMU, Dec 1: A youth was killed, while two others were injured in accidents, here today.
As per police sources, a biker was killed, while his pillion mate was injured, when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a mini-bus near Gole Pulley, falling under the jurisdiction of Talab Tillo Police Station.
The deceased has been identified as Rohit Kundal alias Vicky (22), son of Jagdish Raj, a resident of Makhanpur, tehsil Bishnah, while the injured identified as Neeraj Nandwal (CISF jawan), son of Darshan Lal, a resident of village Chak Tara was undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu.
Meanwhile, a youth namely Sumit Sharma, son of Raj Kumar, a resident of Muthi was injured, when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by another motorcycle near Paloura, falling under the jurisdiction of Talab Tillo Police Post.
The injured was rushed to GMCH Jammu, from where he was taken to a hospital in Amritsar.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Talab Tillo Police Post and investigation started.
