JAMMU, Aug 24: A 22-year-old youth was found hanging this morning in Satwari area of city outskirts.
“Harjinder Singh (22) son of Rajinder Singh, resident of Karnal Colony (Satwari) was found hanging at his residence. When noticed, his brother rushed him in unconscious condition to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead”, a police official said.
He said that the body of the deceased was handed over to its legal heirs for completion of postmortem and other legal formalities while Satwari police had taken cognizance of the matter.
